W-Plan / M-Plan
G’Day
I want to write about wedding planning today. This is a topic that is of increased interest to me since July 30th, 2006. Before this date, I had thoughts of a wedding, but not the actual planning phase. Well let me tell ya, every girl/woman has a little Bridzilla in them. Guy’s, not so much!
Well we are coming to the closing of our location decisions and The Crown Plaza – White Plains has beat out The Inn on The Lake. This after a grueling 9 month search, and almost destroy, mission. The Inn was the favorite and almost was signed on/deposited in Dcemeber 2006 for a June 2007 date. But the financier in me couldn’t do it. I wanted the funds to be put up from our own pockets so that we could enjoy the day knowing we strugled hard for and deserved it. The-non-Search Continued.
Karrie and I did not actively search for a new location due to frustration on her part and mine. I was not clear in how I wanted us to pay for the wedding and she(/we) did not have a realistic budget to work with because of this. That all changed one weekend in February when Gilda took the bride-to-be and made-of-honor location searching. Then shit hit the fan and we sat down to make a clear budget based on what we could actualy save. We vowed to stay within our limits. Two months later and we are poised to sign on a contract for the Crown Plaza, December 15, 2007! We both are happy with the selection and ecstatic for the wedding day.
…..to be continued…..

Site of the WeEk
Hello there, its been a long long time I know, but your not listening/reading anyway!
Ok, so the site of the week/month/year who’s counting, is Flight Status.
After traveling for a month and a half straight spanning 8 US cities. One tends to loose all sense of time, direction, space, what ever you want to call it! Which brings us to the site of the WeEk. on Flight Status (and many similar sites) you can search listings of flights leavings from one city and arriving in another. Flight status, departure, estimated arrival time, they’ve got it all! And they even color coded some portions for the visual learners among you. So business travelers be ware, for Flight Status is on your side!
Also of interest to this topic – Red Eye Flight
Cheers,
The Kid

992 spam on the wall
I haven’t posted in a very very very long time. (sorry bout that) That hasn’t stopped the spamsters of the world from leaving an uncontrollable amount of spam on my blog site though. This morning I checked my email account and found one new massage awaiting moderation. I recognized the message to be a spam right away and went to mark it as such on wordpress. Little did I know wordpress has marked 992 comments as spam, all correctly identified. I was astonished. Imagine having to waist my time with these annoying comments myself. I love ya Akismet and I love WordPress for allowing me to utilize such a great tool!
Cheers 2.0!
